Deze serie tekeningen is gemaakt naar aanleiding van een reis die Brigida in juni 2006 gemaakt heeft naar haar geboorteland Kenia. Samen met haar kinderen bezocht ze de plekken van haar jeugd. Het is een serie bomen geworden die oa getoond zijn op een expositie in Paphos (Cyprus) 2006.
